This FREE to enter event celebrates everything that matters in Italy. From enjoying an ice cold Birra Moretti to authentic street food inspired by the country’s many different regions including Naples, Lombardy, Puglia and Sicily. All enjoyed in good company.
The culinary journey doesn’t stop there… You can sign up in advance for a Pasta Masterclasses and there is also a partnership between Birra Moretti and Forza Win who will create a Tuscan Butchery Masterclass. There will also be an Italian market which will mean you can take the ideas, skills and ingredients of the Moretti Gran Tour home with you.

Tuscan Butchery Masterclass with Forza Win

This year we’ve partnered up with the home of Italian wood fired cookery in the UK, Forza Win. Based in Peckham, South London, Forza Win are bringing a team of their chefs to the Truman Brewery, where they’ve created a pop up academy for an academy for wood fired cookery.
Come, learn how to light a proper fire for cooking, on learn about the why some charcoal is better than others, what wood to use if you’re cooking with wood, then learn about the beef you’re going eat, and why it so delicious. With the advice and guidance of Bash & his team you’ll cut your own steak (from the whole rump!) and then be shown, in groups of, 5, how to cook it perfectly.
As if that wasn’t enough, you’ll then sit down with your ‘classmates’, eat your steak and wash it down with a chilled Birra Moretti paired with the dish
